Trauma-Informed Yoga Classes for Events and Organizations.

I have consistently practiced yoga (the philosophy and the asana) for over a decade and completed my teacher training certification in 2022. I am certified to teach both kids and adults. I offer trauma-informed yoga for special events and organizations. My teaching is grounded in safety, autonomy, and nervous system regulation. I have a range of experience from teaching people who “have never practiced yoga” to guiding those in a research-based environment, examining yoga as a tool for reducing PTSD and anxiety. I structure my classes based on the needs and goals of each environment and group. If you’re curious to learn more, reach out!

Common questions:

  • I offer customized classes for events, workshops, staff wellness days, retreats, and ongoing organizational programming. Sessions can be tailored to focus on stress reduction, nervous system regulation, grounding, or restoration. Classes are accessible to all levels, so no prior yoga experience is required.

  • Trauma-informed yoga emphasizes autonomy, consent, and nervous system safety. My classes are led to be adaptable, empowering, and supportive to all safety needs. Depending on your environment, I will adapt classes based on the needs of the room.

  • No. These sessions are not therapy and do not replace mental health treatment. They are supportive wellness practices that can complement existing care and promote self-regulation and resilience. If you’re seeking a “Yoga Therapist” I can give you a referral for an excellent Yoga Therapist.
